Not only is he somewhat of a local social media style icon, Musa Ngcobo is an astute and talented businessmen with rich experience in the South African property sector. Profica is proud to have had him on board as a non-executive director for the past two years of Profica Project Management Africa (PPM), a black-owned company of the Profica group.
Musa Ngcobo’s strong credentials have been built up over almost two decades of operating within the local property sector. This experience is clearly mirrored in his sustained ability in bringing high-value property projects to conclusion. Musa is currently the Chairman of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) Government Liaison Committee which has a mandate to liaise with and lobby government at all levels in dealing with issues that are of interest or concern to SAPOA members. Musa also serves on the Property Sector Charter Council, having played an integral role in developing what is a robust and transformative document that establishes the principles upon which BBBEE should be implemented in the sector.
Passionate about transformation and empowerment in property, Musa has also been the Deputy Chairperson for the BUSA Transformation Committee and currently plays an integral part in the BBBEE Nedlac task team, as well as being a member of the Presidential BBBEE Advisory Council – Sub Committee: on Access to finance, Procurement, and Enterprise Development.
