Mandela Day 2020
It is that time of the year again and amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, as PROFICANS – we would still like to give back to those in need.
This year, we have expressed our love; by donating to the Old Age Home, Lourdes House, across the road from Profica.
The Lourdes House (NGO) nursing and retirement home has been in existence since 2004. Lourdes House strives to provide a real home experience with maximum comfort as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere. Lourdes House offers frail care, assisted care as well as independence care with 24-hour nursing staff available.
Profica staff along with Management came together, and prepared care packages for the Elderly at Lourdes House. The event was well supported by staff, with many giving their 67 minutes. Profica’s culture of caring for others was definitely evident in the joy expressed by the many faces at Lourdes House and through their gestures of appreciation. Profica believes every small action creates a ripple effect, so let us together strive to make Mandela day every day!
